Every great coffee starts with a perfect espresso shot. Here is how to make each one.
Espresso
Pure, 60 seconds
Grind 18g of fresh beans to fine. Fill the basket and tamp lightly.
Fill the tank with hot water (not boiling) up to the line.
Press the button. A perfect shot with golden crema in 60 seconds.
Americano
Shot + hot water
Brew a single espresso with your Espressyo.
Pour 120ml of hot water into your mug.
Add the shot over water. Crema floats beautifully on top.
Latte
Shot + frothed milk
Brew a single espresso shot.
Heat and froth 200ml of milk until smooth and creamy.
Pour milk slowly over the shot. Spoon a thin layer of foam on top.
Cappuccino
Shot + foamed milk
Pull a single espresso shot.
Froth 150ml of milk until thick and foamy - more foam than a latte.
Pour steamed milk, then spoon generous foam on top. Dust with cocoa if you like.
Flat white
Strong crema base
Use 18g of coffee for a stronger, fuller shot.
Steam 150ml of milk to silky microfoam - barely any bubbles, velvety texture.
Pour directly through the crema. No spoon, no layers - just smooth.
